Wisteria #C9A0DC
You need to choose a color for your next decoration. Here is a 'classic' (from 2019 onwards… :)…
Wisteria as a color is the result of theunion of purple and white. Although only recently reintroduced into the world of fashion and into paint and varnish companies, this shade boasts a long tradition that owes much to the plant from which it takes its name. In fact, the wisteria plant has been known since ancient times in Asia, where it was grown especially in China, and then it was imported in Europe thanks to Marco Polo.
Over the years, a rich symbolism has developed around wisteria and its color. First of all, this color would have the meaning of femininity and sensuality.
In the East and in Buddhism, however, it would be symbol of peace and serenity and it is one of the central colors of this philosophy and lifestyle. It is not surprising, therefore, to see it very often as decoration of temples and statues and find the homonymous flowers as embellishment.
