Certified Felt and Pannolenci, how to recognize it
If you are an educator or a teacher in a nursery school or primary school in general, you will surely have asked yourself the question:
“Where can I find baby-safe felt or fleece?”
As we are keen to live up to our commitment to provide only top quality certified materials to many educators in Italy and around the world, we asked ourselves this question before you 🙂 and we made sure that our products respect these safety standards recognized by Italy and the European Community.
How do we recognize a felt or fleece that is safe for children?
If we look on Wikipedia, the EN 71 (in Italy UNI EN 71) It is a European technical standard that regulates the safety requirements of toys.

safe felt and fleece
The regulation has been implemented by Italian law and published in Italy by the Italian National Unification Body under the name of UNI EN 71.
So we are in the field of toys for children and more specifically the characteristics of release and migration of substances harmful to the organism that toys and materials must respect once they come into contact with the skin through suction or prolonged adhesion.
Children spend a lot of their time, at home, at nursery or at school, in contact with toys or other materials such as felt and fleece in our case, it is therefore essential that these are safe and do not cause them health problems.
Many of the products in our e-shop have implemented the standard and have passed the strict tests that regulate it. This is for us IdeasInFeltro an important aspect, among the founding ones of our project and our vision.
